Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you use the public demo generator, we may collect the travel video URL you submit, the video id, video title, public caption or chapter text when available, generated itinerary content, destinations, place names, booking-link candidates, demo preview ids, and expiration timestamps.

When creators log in with social accounts and choose their own videos or content for generation and publishing, we may collect account identifiers, profile or channel information, selected content metadata, generated itinerary content, published page ids, booking-link candidates, and publication status.

When someone visits a demo preview, published page, or booking redirect, we may collect technical information such as timestamps, referring pages, browser or device information, user-agent strings, bot indicators, and hashed IP-derived values for security, debugging, and click attribution.

When you join our email waitlist, we collect the email address you submit, the page or source where you signed up, and the same kinds of technical information noted above (including referring page, user-agent, and a hashed IP-derived value used to limit abuse and prevent duplicate signups).

2. How we use information

• Generate demo itinerary previews from links submitted on the public home page.
• Generate and publish audience-facing itinerary pages only for logged-in creators who choose eligible videos or content from their own connected social accounts.
• Find, store, and display relevant Trip.com or other third-party booking links.
• Operate redirects, measure itinerary-level click activity, and troubleshoot link quality.
• Contact people who join the email waitlist about product availability, launch updates, and creator onboarding.
• Protect the service from abuse, debug errors, improve product quality, and comply with legal obligations.

3. AI and service providers

We use cloud and AI service providers to operate the product. For example, the web app may send submitted demo URLs, selected creator content, public transcript or chapter text, and generation instructions to a Google-hosted agent to produce itinerary data.

We may also request public information from YouTube and route viewers to Trip.com, affiliate networks, or other booking providers. Those services process information under their own terms and privacy policies when you interact with them.

4. Public sharing

The public home-page generator is a demo preview experience. Demo outputs are not intended to be audience-published pages, even if they include a temporary URL or page-like output.

Audience-facing itinerary pages can be published only after a creator logs in with a social account, chooses eligible content, and publishes the page. If you publish or distribute a page URL, anyone with that URL may be able to view the generated itinerary, source content reference, destination, place cards, and booking links until the page expires or is removed.

Do not submit, select, or publish information that you do not want to appear in a demo preview or on a published itinerary page.

5. Cookies and analytics

The current public demo does not require a user account and does not intentionally use marketing cookies. Creator publishing requires social login, and that flow may use authentication, session, security, and account-management cookies or similar technologies.

Third-party booking and video services may use their own cookies, tracking technologies, or analytics after you leave GetThisTrip.

6. Sharing and disclosure

We may share information with vendors that help us host, store, secure, analyze, and generate the service; with booking or affiliate providers when users click outbound links; and when required for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or rights-protection reasons.

We do not sell creator-submitted video URLs or generated itinerary pages as a standalone personal-information product.

7. Retention

Demo previews and published itinerary pages may expire or be removed according to product settings. Related logs, click records, backups, security records, and provider logs may be retained for longer where needed to operate, secure, improve, or comply with obligations for the service.

Because published pages are shareable, copies of page URLs or generated content may remain with creators, viewers, search engines, caches, screenshots, or third-party services outside our control.

8. Your choices

• Do not submit private or sensitive information in demo URLs, connected social accounts, video descriptions, or materials you ask us to process.
• Only connect social accounts and choose content that you own, control, or are authorized to use.
• Review generated pages before publishing or sharing them with your audience.
• Use browser controls to limit cookies or tracking on third-party sites.
• Send deletion or privacy requests to privacy@getthistrip.com.

9. Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures for the stage of the product, but no system is perfectly secure.

The service and its providers may process information in the United States and other locations where our infrastructure or vendors operate.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, vendors, or data practices change. The updated date above shows when this page was last changed.
